I sure hope it wasn't in the top part of the center arm rest - the compartment that opens with the driver and passenger sides folding opposite ways

OP, in the cup holder under the false bottom.

In the rear cup holder.

Behind the rear arm rest.

Did you have to dismantle anything?

So I'm really suprised nobody went for the obvious...

I opened the driver-side door and moved the seat forward. I opened the rear door, reached under the driver side right seat track and immediately felt something. It took about a minute and I set off the panic alarm once but out it came like a new baby...and more proud I could not be. Bottom line, it fell out of someone's pocket at wedged between the seat and the console and under the track. Glad I found it and glad it was so simple to find!

So what are we looking for here, pics of the key? pics of the seat moved up? A reenactment?

After all the help we gave you, I think it's time for pics of everything! The car, the key, the seat, the wife... everything! :-)

Actually, the pic in the avatar is my actual car. It's all I have at the moment and that was from the dealers website just before they took it down after I bought the car. No mods, just a stock vehicle, same as the wife.

Once summer arrives I will have it detailed to get all the NE winter crap off it and get pics. Will do the same for the car.
