2005 RL pricing

Hi everyone. Just sold my Subaru this week and have been looking at a couple '05 RL's in my area.

What's a good price for an '05 with 20k miles? The dealer is asking $23995, and I'm hoping to get $21995. From what I've looked up on edmunds/kbb, their asking price is reasonable. But from what I've read here, you guys are getting deals much lower than that.

20k mi is a bit low...don't forget to carfax it and maybe get an extended warranty for that 24k.

I did a carfax, and it's been in no accidents, all service done at the dealership at ~6k mile intervals. It looks like the owner just rarely drove it... 5k miles in the first year.

How much does the extended warranty cost?

I was quoted $1200 give or take for 8yr/100k mi from TheAcuraPartsGuy.

Look through the current threads, you'll find it.

If you are in Fl you must buy the warranty from an instate dealer.

Why is that?

At any rate...

I ended up buying it.

Certified used 2005 Acura RL, 19,340 miles. Traded in by an older couple. All maintenance at the Acura dealership, clean Carfax w/ no accidents. As part of the deal I made the dealership include the 7yr/100k mile bumper-to-bumper warranty. $22,400 out the door.

I'm very, very happy with it. It's like driving a cloud.
