so I recently purchased a 05 acura RL for 2.5 grand at 130k KM , and i drove it home to start working on it, theres misfires and a p1717 code, I am currently replacing the valves and redoing the valvetrain as the timing belt must've snap while driving and the last owner attempted to repair it with a new belt, unfortunately the cyl 5 valves are bent and so are the other valves, but fortunately my pistons are okay and its only slight kissing on the cyl 5 piston, my only other concern would be the neutral range switch giving me a p1717 code. And one thing I should mention is that it did not start flashing in drive til I got home and shut the engine off, it was when I turned it back on when I saw it start flashing, thanks people!
