I got in an accident with my 05 RL with 173K and just got it back a few days ago. They put over $11K into it and it still isn't fixed (the air wasn't blowing cold, the daytime running lamps weren't working, and the right front passenger door makes a squeaking sound when opening it). So back to the shop it went yesterday. The repair guy told me that they went above what it was going to cost to total it but they ran into problems late in the repair process so it was too late to total it. It was good to have my car back for a few days. Ran like it was brand new Now I just need to get it detailed inside, fixed the driver door handle and replace the steering wheel.

Time to sell. 11k for repairs tells me they are holding their value, but yours is on borrowed time. Time to find another. They are worth it.
