Yokohama Avid Ascend - does nayone have these on their RDX?
My Michelin Primacy are starting to show a lot of wear at 38,000 miles. In warmer weather, they would probably last another 4-5,000 miles, but going into the winter, I'm thinking of replacing them very soon.
I've always had good luck with Yokohama tires, but the models I used to use are no longer made or available in 235-60-18 size. I don't like the Michelins much because they are somewhat rough riding, terrible nail magnets, and got quite noisy after 30k.
Does anyone have the Yoko Avid Ascends on their RDX and what has been the experience as far as dry/wet/snow handling, braking, ride quality, noise, and longevity?
