Ride Comfort

It has been suggested here, and elsewhere, that manufacturers lean towards ride comfort when making tire pressure recommendations rather than optimum handling and/or tire wear considerations. Any views?

for the 2nd gen RDX yes, as the first gen was the sporty one and ppl complained that their entry level luxury vehicle is jarring

Then why do manufacturers keep putting bigger and bigger wheels on cars, with lower and lower profile tires? If anything, it's a balancing game, trying to get the best of all worlds.
