dealership tires deal

What do you think?
I was told my 14 rdx (38K) needs to change all 4 tires (their grade now is 4. I was told 12 is new and 3 is bad).
now they gave me an offer for 4 tires for about 930$ and including tire rotation free for life and complimentary alignment checks and suspension inspection.

is that a good deal?

It'd be helpful if you you told us what type of tires.

I think you can find a better deal at Costco though

A friend of mine, a mayor of a fairly affluent town in the San Francisco Bay area was told the same thing by her dealership (Lexus); she took her car to her friendly neighborhood tire shop and they told her she had at least a year left of driving on her worst tire.

Long story short, get a second opinion.

If you decide to move forward with the dealership deal - make sure you take advantage of the Michelin $70 mail in rebate that ends on 7/16/17. You can take advantage of the $70 rebate regardless of where you buy your tires, but the dealership may or may not have told you about it assuming they are an *eligible dealer. Promotion

I'd get a second opinion. I wouldn't trust a dealer to give me the correct time.
