Best way to "change color" of rims
Like many others in the forums, I don't like the rims on the 2016-2017 rdx advance/elite model. I don't hate them..I would just expect something better looking, especially for the top model.
Anyways, what's the best way to change the color of the rims? Not sure if I want to black out the entire rim or just black out a few of the spokes. it seems like the most affordable method is to plastidip but I'm not sure how durable they'd be on rims..any insight here? what about painting or powder coating them? Any advice would be appreciated. I plan on using the stock rims as my winter set and then buying a new set of summer tires and rims after the winter ends...I live in Canada and plan to commute quite a bit so a winter set and summer set is a must |
lol sounds like you've answered your own question.
the next step would be to visit or call some shops that offer painting and or powder coating. ask for quotes and what kind of process it involves. |

Once cured by heat the finish is a smooth, hard skin. All processes are factory applied under controlled, stable conditions.
