16" wheels possible?

Hi guys, I am a new owner of a 2017 RDX advance, and traded in a 2009 CRV EXL for it. I still have a set of 16" wheels/snow tires from the CRV, and was wondering if they would mount up on the RDX. Thank you for your help in advance!

Just try putting them on. I suspect they have the same bolt pattern. Make sure to try the back and front, check for caliper and control arm clearance. Same after you lower the car.

They work on the older RDX, but they have smaller rotors. Not sure about the sensor compatibility, but you can live with a little yellow light if the RDX won't recognize them. I have a set of 16" snow tire/wheels that I swap between the 2008 RDX and the wife's 2010 Element.

I am 99% sure they are both 5x114.3 so bolt pattern is the same. Just be careful about the offset and like kaputnik mentioned, there may be an issue with the rotor size but that is easy to see.

Yea I was more worried about the brake size vs offset, Im sure the offset would work...the only Honda offset that's weird and like nothing else is my s2000. I also assume the 2017 RDX uses the newer style TPMS sensors, so I doubt it will pick those older ones up

Were there any updates on the fitment of 16"?

What is width of the CR-V wheel? and the stock offset? and tire size?

Thanks in advance,
Mike

I physically tried to put the 16 inch crv wheels on my RDX. Would not fit. Try to source the previous generation 17 inch steel wheels. Centre bore will match and they use the same ball seat lugs as your stock RDX wheels. Good luck.

Sorry I should have clarified. I meant Honda CR-V 17 inch steelies. RDXes did not ever come with steel wheels.

Thanks for the clarification, that'll be helpful looking through craigslist for a used set.
