Interior light question

Back again with a double newbie question (new to forum and new RDX owner). I'll preface by saying this WAS a problem, kind of solved, but still a minor issue... Kind of feeling like a dummie because I picked up my '18 RDX Advance yesterday and for a full 24 hrs or so, I thought my interior light(s) was not working. I even talked to some folks at the dealer about it. I finally figured out tonight the master switch, which is nicely hidden if you're A.D.D. like me by the way, was switched off. It is now working and switched on though!

But now I'm slightly disappointed. The other lights are fine. But the cargo area is seriously lacking in the light department in my opinion. Two questions: 1.) Would upgrading the second row / rear dome light to a LED bulb increase the light in the cargo area enough to make a significant difference? 2.) Is there a way to hardwire a light in the cargo area in a place where it still looks nice and neat (think OEM neat), but brightens up the cargo area a lot?

I don't mind adding a light if it doesn't look blatantly added on, like you just glued a push-on light some place. I despise cheap looking accessories that you just adhere to a surface and call it a day. Thanks Acura friends!

Yes, an LED board with multiple SMD LED's will light up a given space.
since I don't have the RDX, I'm not to sure the bulb type. If you research a little, maybe you can come up with the bulb type.. Then look for the equivalent LED type.

Justnspace,

The link worked! Thank you. Where should I go to get the bulbs switched out? I'm betting the dealer would charge and arm and a leg for labor.

Well, the lights are working. User error. Maybe I should have taken that feature explanation before I left the dealer. I was just excited to get on the road! I think I'm pretty close to having most everything figured out on my own, minus a few minor details. I am definitely going to look into upgrading the lights to LEDs though so thanks again for the link!
