2014 Won't power on

The battery on my fob has been dieing for a while but I've always been able to start if i hold right next to the start button. but this time after 3 or 4or 5 attempts the car powered off and nothing. I did get a new battery for the fob but i assume there I need to do to reset it.

Thanks for help

Perhaps a dead car battery?

So you are saying that, with a new fob battery, the car still won't start?
Details are important.
I have heard that the fob battery does have to be a quality name brand one.
There are throw away versions of those batteries for use in electric candles and kids toys.

If you suspect the 12 volt underwood battery may be weak as well, it needs to be load tested to determine its actual health.
If you get it started and it is asking for a CODE on the radio, press and hold the power button.

If you have the other fob, see if that starts the car.

Putting a new battery in the fob does not warrant a reset.

I would recommend not waiting so long to replace the battery next time.

Good luck.
