Doesn't the new model come out in 2019? After the 3 year mid-model refresh?

Those starburst sunlight glints or reflections off of the chrome look so phony - fake - contrived - unnatural.

Yes, this is a photoshop i blended together with an mdx and a current rdx on my note 5. Yes, there are flaws in the blending, but i made this in like 5 minutes. It is my prediction for the next-generation rdx. My last prediction for the 2016 rdx were almost spot on. (Nov2014) Pictures many of you haters criticized, but couldnt provide better creations of your own. This forum really is a waste of time.
Only time will tell if I'm right again. Thanks.

I expect this will be the look for the next gen RDX.. I think is was a good quick rendering (way better than what I could have done) but again, the new front does not agree with me. IMHO

I am on the fence with this look for the 2018 RDX. Although there is a lot of rumours and speculation, I did see a picture of the 2018 Acura TLX which has the same MDX grille. Acura could have a real winner if they gave the 2018 RDX a sportier and edgier look but Acura/ Honda has never been known too do anything overly sporty/ edgy. The new 2017 Honda CRV now uses Garmin for their navigation system, so lets hope Acura goes the same route. Again, although speculation and rumour some articles I have been reading suggest that Acura will be dropping the V6 engine and opting for a turbo charged 4 cylinder as most of their competition does. For this reason I bought a new RDX Tech with the V6. Such a smooth, quiet power plant. Acura models have been described as "near-luxury", so it will also be interesting too see if Acura will up its game with the 2018 RDX and have it compete directly with the likes of the BMW X3, Audi Q5, etc. No matter what the next RDX looks like buyers will get use to it and they will buy it. I can't imagine that Acura will stray too far from its current design being that they have been experiencing record sales of their 2016 and 2017 models.
