Which spark plugs for 2015 3.5L RDX
I am looking to replace the plugs. I have found two different ones that are supposed to OEM. Have not looked at the ones in the car yet. NGK - ILZKR7B11 and Denso - SXU22HCR11. Which one is right?
I have seen a few different versions with an "S" attached either at the end or beginning. I am guessing the heat range is 11, but I really don't know how to decipher the designations. Can anyone help?

The owner's manual for my 2017 RDX allows for both spark plug types:
Acura apparently believes that they are interchangeable. I don't have an opinion about the relative merits of NGK vs. DENSO.

Great post!! I'm new to the forum and I have a 2014 RDX 3.5L and it's coming up to about 90,000KM and I wanted to change the plugs. Is this a DIY or do I have to take it to the dealership? I can't find anything point to where the location of the plugs are or where how to replace them yourself. Any assistance would be very much appreciated. Thank you everyone!

Why so early? The Multi Information Display will set a code for them around 160km (100k miles) You only have 56k miles.
You can search other Honda forums for vehicles that use this v-6 engine for tips.

There are many videos on Youtube that will help you if you decide to do it yourself. Search for "acura j35 spark plug replacement" and the MDX, odyssey or pilot will be applicable to your RDX.
Some things to remember:
1) Do not use anti-seize or other lubricant on new plugs. They are coited with a finish that prevents them from getting stuck. If reinstalling old plugs, a "tiny" amount could be used.
2) Double check the gap before installation
3) Use a torque wrench for proper tightening.
Good luck!
