I am a long time lurker and a first time poster and thought I would share my DIY Fog Lights install on my 2016 Tech+AWP purchased in July. Information posted in this forum by others on Morimotos was very helpful and I ended up ordering the rest of the required kit from Bernardi (Part # 08V38-TX4-200A). In total parts cost was $340 (including shipping from Bernardi and VLEDS). A YouTube video ( ) on removal of the front bumper of a TSX was very helpful and is almost identical. Below are some pictures I took with my phone at different stages and hope these will help those on the fence about taking this on.


This is looking at the driver's side of the front bumper from behind with the fog light mounting panel removed.




The old (left) and the new (right) fog light mounting panels.




This is looking at the front of the car with the front bumper removed and the fog light wiring harness taped to the bumper beam. I didn't find it necessary to remove the left front inner fender as described in the installation instruction as I was easily able to sneak the wiring harness under the left headlight.

Awesome. I saw the instruction for the whole led kit conversion and it didn't appear to be that easy. Congrats!

Thanks! It wasn't actually that difficult. The whole things probably took me about 2 hours from start to finish. The most involved part was taking the front bumper off. Finding that youtube video was what convinced me that it can be an easy DIY. The thing I had the most issue with was that I had switched without knowing the power and ground wires to the supplied female plug and removing them without damaging the plug was a pain.

I am strongly considering doing this to my 2016 Acura Watch plus Tech. I can't stand the way the fog light spacer looks with no light. I had a few questions. What parts exactly did you buy (assembly in your post plus which light? Anything else?). How do the lights turn on without a switch for them in the cabin? Thank you!

The part number in the first post includes all the parts needed except the foglights. The fogs I used are morimotos.

That's interesting. I didn't know you can just install the fig lights and they start working. I thought you must also install/replace the micro switch on the steering wheel. Otherwise, how would you turn the fog lights on/off?
