Question Fuse Confuse

Before I dive under the dash with a multimeter to check all the possibilities I'm hoping someone can tell me which fuse is dedicated to the dimmable dash lights. The fuse labeling is anything but clear on my '17 RDX. One possibility is #5 labeled "meter" but #34 "small lights" and #35 "illumination" are also candidates.

I'm going to install some small LED strips under the dash, in the Accessory/USB cubby and the cup holders and want to be able to dim them along with instrument lighting. Plan B will be a small rheostat in the cubby to deal with the LEDs separate from the instrument lighting.

So, the correct fuse is?

I'm not sure if that's how the circuit works, I think the dimmer is after the fuse altogether so even if you tapped into said fuse, the dimmer wouldn't work in the fashion you'd like.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong though.

Sounds like "Plan B" just became the plan.

Thanks members, I was afraid that might be the case. Plan B it is.

Cheers!
