Don't have my owner's manual. found one online and it says 4.55 quarts. dang I put 6 quarts this time thinking I needed 7 quarts. Is it safe to drive it with more oil or do I need to take 1.45 quarts out? thanks.

when I took the oil dipstick out, the oil level is above the recommended level. It goes up to the fat medal part of the dipstick measurement little more above the line.

Two things:
- Go to http://owners.acura.com and download a manual.
- Yes, take a quart and a half out of your engine; too much oil will allow the crank components to whip the oil into foam, and oil foam doesn't do a very good job of protecting tender parts inside your engine.

Looks like 2015 Acura RDX changes it's oil filter every other oil change. The manual says change oil ONLY with A1 indicator. With B1 change the oil filter with oil change. I have changed the oil every 6,0000 when the light tells me. Why doesn't my car tell me to change the oil filter at every oil change since there's some dirty oil left in the oil filter? I guess it's ok to not change it with every oil change then. Thanks for your help! =)
