Ventilated/Cooled Seats in Non-Advance Package RDXs
If someone bought a non-Advance package RDX, could they then replace the seat bottoms from the Advance package RDX and the seat heater switches to get cooled seats? Are the fans built into the seat cushion?

#9 are the heated and ventilated seat screws and #16 and #18 are the heated and ventilated seat switches at $86.14 each.

As far as I can tell, to add ventilated seats to a non-Advance package 2016-2018 RDX, it would cost $1,117.23, which includes shipping. One would need the following parts (I believe):I'm not sure what the TCI front L and R seat back and cushion parts are, but they are only available in the Advance version of the online illustrated parts breakdown. If one did not need the Advance package up front, but wanted to add ventilated seats later, they could do that.

This is the controller for the heated and vented seats. It is under the center console storage compartment near the floor. You would also need to wiring harness that goes between the switches and the controller

The wiring harness on the advanced is different than all other models. The switches has 3 LEDs for 3 fan speeds and 3 heat modes. It would be easier to find an advanced in the junkyard and get everything. After that then you would need to adapt the advanced harness into your existing harness.

I guess your right, not too many Advanced out there in the junkyards.
