Best iPhone mount and location?

Hey all, I'm a bit stumped on where's the best place to mount my iPhone in my 2018 RDX Advance so that I can see it while driving. I mean, yes, I can mount it with one of the vent-mounting holders, but I've not found one that ends up positioning the iPhone nicely for me (the driver).

How have you guys solved the problem?

Thanks in advance!

John

Magnetic cd-player mount. Its in the center of the front console and certain mounts can be angled in the right position toward you. I got mine on amazon. Although it won't work if you actually use the cd player.

Proclip...next to the passenger vent beside (to the left of) the glovebox.

Easy to install & remove and close to the USB port if you need charging.

Thanks for that recommendation, Visiter. Looks like a great product, so I've ordered one!

Joe, I do use my CD player, so any CD mount won't work for me...

Not the greatest shot. I use an Anker suction mount clip, installed to the left of the driver as shown. Or in the center below the mirror if I'm with an interested passenger.

I designed a mount to fit in the storage area under the radio to charge the phone while driving then I had it 3D printed. It's not meant for you to easily interact with it as it is a bit low but it's great to store and charge your phone and you could play your music via USB if you wanted to. I use an IPOD for that.
2 pieces and a 90 degree connector.
Everything assembled and installed in place.
How it looks.

MHarn, very nice!

Eventually, I did choose the ProClip and I think it is simply the GREATEST! Wow, so impressed with how this company has taken on this challenge across what might be hundreds of different car interior styles and have come up with some tremendous solutions. Not cheap at around $65.00, but I could not be happier. Simply a great, great product in every way that I can think of.

Thank you for that tip, Visitor!
