YES or NO to Roof Rails & Steering cover ?
I have 2015 RDX. Just thinking to get two things, but confuse if they will really look good ?
- Though its steering wheel is already made of very nice material with good grip. Do you ever use any cover to protect scuffs from nails or something else over period of time ?
- Another one is roof rails. Mine is Forged Silver with ebony interior. I am not sure, if that will look good. I am trying to imagine and see examples on road, but would like to get opinions, who already have it. Also, I read one old post (2010) regarding wind noise with roof rails.
Thanks

Here's a front and back perspective taken from another users ride:
Personally I think it looks better without them.
Don't think I've ever seen the steering cover accessory. Someone else may have some experience with that.

The only reason to add the roof rails is if you really need them. IMO it does nothing but detract from the looks. One of my few gripes with the RDX- no low profile roof rails like the MDX and painfully, the CRV.

Steering wheel cover...? You want to make it look like a taxi cab...?
RDX without roof rails make it look more polished and sophisticated. With roof rails it looks more rugged.
But that's just my opinion. Do it if you like it that way.

A temp steering wheel cover would be useful if you live some place like Phoenix and you don't have your front windows tinted or use a sun shade when parked. Every surface in your car would get +120 degrees in a matter of minutes when parked in the southwest. No wheel cover if you do have tint/window shade already. I would only get the roof rails/cross bars if you plan on using them down the road (I have a Yakima cargo box). The RDX leans more toward CUV duties without and more SUV looks/capabilities with roof rails (same with trailer hitch and/or side steps).
