Where to find a Side View Mirror Actuator Assembly 2015 RDX?
Howdy all...the side view mirror actuator assembly on my 2015 RDX broke and I'm looking to replace it. I thought it would be pretty easy to find, but it's proving difficult only because I'm not 100% certain from what I'm finding that the parts are good for the 2nd gen RDX. I found this:
Which is a genuine OEM actuator for a '07-'13 MDX (76210-STX-H03) and there's a reference in the Amazon Q&A that it also fits the 2015 RDX as well (plus the fact that visually it is identical to my part.) I also find this part all over the place and cheaper on a few site but they still list it as being for an MDX.
I feel like I'm missing something cause it seems weird that none of these search matches are specifically saying it will fix my RDX model as well.
If anyone has replaced an actuator on the 2015 RDX and can help me confirm the part, I'd appreciate it.

Just look up the part on an online seller of OEM parts, like Bernardi Acura. You can compare the part numbers between the RDX & the MDX for instance.
With the actual part number, a Google search using the number will net you results.
By the way, an RDX is just a small MDX or, as I like to say, a CRV with soundproofing. I did notice when we first got our RDX there where mistakes in the owner's manual
of features only available in the MDX. (Like having the center mirror adjust with the driver settings) in an RDX, only the side mirrors do that. So even Acura mixes these things up.
I bet that actuator is used in a bunch of Honda products.

Update
@egads Much thanks for the note, I'll keep that in mind for the future. I bet you're right that it's used in several models (though in my search I did find different model actuators for some Honda/Acura models.)
After waiting a few days for responses, I decided to roll the dice and order the part that I noted earlier. It was exactly the actuator I needed and went in with no problems at all. Hardest part was popping the old attach plate out of the mirror. Feels good to save a few bucks!

oemacuraparts.com or acuraoemparts.com are my go-to online retailers. You're able to put in your car's make and model and then purchase OEM parts for a fraction of the price of dealer pricing. Bonus points acuraoemparts is an AZ sponsor so they have 5% with code ACURAZINE i believe..

One last follow-up to this thread. After installing, I was able to manually adjust the mirror fine, but I noticed every time I went to to go somewhere the mirror had adjusted itself to the far right automagically requiring that I manually readjust it again. I scratched my head the first few times it happened then I had a thought that disconnecting the previous one may have affected the automatic adjustments from the driver setting. Once I set the mirror where I wanted it and reset the driver settings, it stayed put.

Thanks for posting this about the RDX side mirror actuator! I've been trolling the net all morning looking for the part I need and looking like I have to buy a whole mirror assembly since none of the Acura part sites list the actuator alone. Even Amazon says "this part will not fit your vehicle!" but we know differently now I guess. Strange that Acura and Honda can't keep this straight between the RDX and MDX but even now that I own one I can't always tell the difference when I see them on the road. Thanks again!

I have a question: Is it documented somewhere in the Owner's Manual (and I just missed it) that you can put down the windows (and open the sunroof) of the RDX from outside the (non-running or running) vehicle, by holding down the "Unlock" button on the remote? This worked on my '04 Accord Coupe (although the sunroof did *not* open on the Honda), so I tried it with my RDX, and sure enough! It is useful when it's really hot, and you get a chance to let a little air flow through the vehicle when it's been sitting in the sun.

Thanks memurphyiii!! This problem has been bugging me for many years and I always thought I had to replace the entire side mirror assembly. Your post was super helpful and solved the problem!
I bought the part from Amazon and it was super easy to install. The mirror pops off at 3 points and then 3x T10 screw for the actuator. Unhook the wires (they are behind the actuator, once the screws are out) and replace with new part. After putting everything back together, the mirror moves smoothly and noise-free.
Attaching the pic. I'm holding the new one.

@memurphyiii , another thank you for posting this.
We recently bought a '13 RDX for my daughter to drive, both mirrors were clicking and it drove me nuts anytime I adjusted them or put the car in reverse. I went with the genuine Honda part from oemacuraparts.com (76210-STX-H03 for both sides). One note for anyone replacing both sides, on our car the passenger side was a lot easier to work on. I had more space to pop the mirror lens and wire harness was longer which allowed me to easily disconnect the actuator. The harness was so short on the driver's side, it took me about 10 minutes to get the wire connector to release. Maybe start on the passenger side first, then move to the driver's side once you know how it all comes apart.
