Traded in the TL for the RDX today
Well, I made the change today for my 2010 SH-AWD TL with Tech for a 2014 RDX Tech with BSM, Tonneau Cover (Black on Black), and expect it next week. I loved my TL but the room in the car and trunk was lacking for my needs. I expect it next week.
The things I will miss is the upgraded leather, thicker steering wheel, power and the stereo system. Although the specs for the stereo seem to be the same, it simply does not sound as good as my TL. Maybe it's the size of the interior of the vehicle. That said I am a big guy and the room will be better and I generally like this vehicle.
I am looking foreward to it.

BLEXV6...congrats on the RDX. I have a 2012 TL in addition to the RDX and your comments on the ELS system were almost exactly as mine when I got the RDX.
A few comments...make sure you turn down the centre channel as it will overpower the speakers in the doors. I have unbalanced the fade to put a slight rear bias, and have also turned off the Dolby Prologic II to off, boosted the subwoofer a bit and these have helped alot.
Someone made a comment earlier, and I do apologize in advance for the person who made the comment as I can't recall who it is, but I am not strating to appreciate the sound in the RDX better. As that individual stated, the sound may not be as loud as the TL but it seems more pure and less muddy.
Play with the settings and you may get to appreciate it too

I have to agree with weather on the sound - I actually like it better in my RDX as compared to my TL. I've always thought the TL's system (even going back to my '06) was overdriving the bass and muddying up the sound. The RDX's combination of system and acoustics delivers a lot cleaner sound IMO. But I do agree you have to play with it to get it like you like it.
When I get in the wife's 2013 TL now I immediately notice how the bass is murky and less-defined than in my RDX.
As for the power difference, it's not really much. The higher seating position makes it seem like you're not going quite as fast, but most 0-60 tests put the RDX only .1 sec behind the TL, and that's not enough to really notice.

Congratulations on your new ride!
I adjusted my sound system, as weather suggests, when my RDX was new. It does improve the sound significantly over the "stock" settings.
Regards, Jim

Acura seems to be moving in the direction of plainer gauge clusters. I felt that way about the RDX cluster for a bit was well, but then I noticed that the 2014 MDX and the RLX basically have the same thing except for a slightly fancier LCD panel between the speedometer and tachometer.
