Hi all,

I am debating buying a 2016-2018 Acura RDX. But before buying would love to rent one in south Florida for a day to see how it drives and how comfy I am in it. Unfortunately no one has any listed on sites like Turo. Anyone know of any other sites similar, I could check for one of these in my area? The closest is three hours away.

Or a long shot- Anyone know of someone who has one in south Florida (palm beach county or broward) and would be willing to let me rent it and drive it around for half a day and return same day. Only need 50 miles worth to see if I like the vehicle.

thought I would take a shot on here, as I do like the car but am concerned with how I fit in it and like how it drives.

If I were you I'd try to find a *nice* example of one that a dealer is selling, and simply ask to take it on a test drive. You will obviously have better luck sourcing a decent one at actual Acura/Honda dealers, as opposed to some buy here pay here car lot.

Good luck tryng to find somewhere to rent a 2nd generation RDX. You're looking at a vehicle that is between 5-7 years old...and wasn't sold at a large scale to rental companies.

It took me 3-4 months to find my 2017 RDX back in 2020, before the car market went into chaos. I live in south central PA in a town that does not have an Acura dealership so I had to expand my search. I found mine at a Cadillac dealership. Car looked brand new inside and out. And has had zero issues. Quirky but no issues.

TheSauceBoss is right about checking a local Honda/Acura dealership but they will also have the highest prices. Look for a 2017 or 2018 that has only one owner OR has proof that the maintenance has been done. Overall this generation of RDX is very reliable and durable but you must keep up with the maintenance.
