This is the RDX forum, not the religious fanatics forum. But take your own advice and listen to counsel. The counsel of this group is for you to quit posting fanboi drivel and search before you ask basic questions

There are two things I refrain from discussing in forums. One is religion, the other is politics. Everything else is fair game.

The key to growing wisdom is being curious and asking many questions. This is a real search.

Why do you call me master, for there is only one Master. I am but a humble servant. I come to serve not the healthy but the sick so that they may get well in knowledge, thoughts and feelings.

May your Acura serve you well for many years.

What happened to this forum? It suddenly degenerated into a forum of religious fervor.
Can you guys (esp Rockyboy) keep the discussion on topic please (Sedan vs crossover). Thank you.

The Genesis is also considered a luxury vehicle, in my view. What differences did you notice when you switched to the RDX?

I wouldn't really call the Gen Coupe a luxury vehicle. The RDX is much taller with a higher centre of gravity and obviously isn't nearly as fast. RDX ahs more options, easier to see out of an get in/out of. Its also going to much more capable in the winter. But, it does still drive and perform decently for an SUV type vehicle.

My TLX is a decent comparison to the RDX. The RDX just feels like a TLX hatchback lol.

What's the 0 to 60 mph time or 0 to 100 km/h time on the Genesis coupe and the TLX? The 2016 RDX I've seen estimates of 5.8 to 6.5 seconds or so.

For the Genny, 5-5.5 to 60 seems about average. 13.5-14 in the 1/4.
TLX, 5.8-6.5 to 60 and 14.5-15 in the 1/4.

I didn't buy the TLX to drag race though lol.

I went from driving a MKZ AWD to driving a RDX AWD. The biggest advantage of a crossover is utility with cargo space, ground clearance, sitting higher up, greater weight helps in snow, and at least for me more power.

The disadvantageous are a crossover normally costs more, the MPG normally isn't as good, parking is a little harder especially for me since I live in NYC where people love to partially block my driveway.

Sounds odd but the reason I picked a RDX over a TLX is because price since you need to get the V6 Tech to get the AWD which is $42K but also because the ground clearance. Sounds weird but having bigger sidewalls, being apple to not worry if I crack my paint if I hit a parking block or go over a weird bump in the road says me the headache of having to go to the repair shop.
