Rotors + Pads
Planning to change OEM Brake Pads / Rotors.
I was going to buy Centrics First Quality Rotors... BUT I have not decided about pads.
What would you get ? For exemple : OEM pads, Z23, Centric PosiQuiet, Etc...
Thanks !!

I'm due for pads as well. They surfaced the rotors at 27K during the CPO purchase. Factoring the shudder while braking, I'm assuming they suggest new rotors with the pads. Right now, there is an offer for pads at $199 per axle, but I figure double that price to include rotors. So my options are to go OEM and maybe they replace the front rotors under a TSB, since my rotors are stamped prior to May 2015. Second is to go with third party for half the price and have my local stop do it. I've used Centric and Powerstop prior, although I lean towards Powerstop based on experience.
Both a premium coated rotors with ceramic pads, shims, and hardware:
Centric Posi-Quiet: https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo...sn=347&jsn=347
Powerstop Z17:
Thoughts?

When the rotor problems come, I'll probably go with one of these and I'll do some research on ceramic pads.

I'll definitely consider the Centrics and the Power Stops.
Thanks.

For me, anything but OEM Acura parts moving forward. Acura brakes and rotors are clearly no better then reputable aftermarket parts. If they were, we would not have had the front brake vibration and noise problems. According to some G3 owners, brake squeals develop early on, which makes you wonder: 1 ) did they learn anything from the G2 RDX? and 2) who the hell are the OEM brake parts outsourced to?

I've had good luck with my 1999 Honda CR-V and now the Acura RDX on original parts.
On the Honda they would last about 5 years due to the rusting in our winters.
In comparison to the junk VW discs I had on my 2013 Jetta, the Honda/Acura parts are far superior.
