I now have been enjoying our Gen 2 RDX for about 6 months. Coming from a Gen 1 RDX which only has the reverse tilt on the right side, I was surprises to learn the left side has this feature. I guess I missed that part of the owners manual. The things we learn waiting for your wife in the RDX!

 

It's controlled by the windows adjustment switch. If you leave the switch in the middle, then neither of the mirrors will tilt.

 

It's very handy, especially if you are backing up and want to see what is going on to the left side of the car when backing up.
