I am due on a lease return on my 2017 RDX / Tech package. Its due in March. I am very happy with the RDX except that I wish it came / had Collision mitigation / front warning. It has all other features like Blind spot etc. Now, I was considering a Model 3 tesla as it may save me 125 bucks on gas and maintainence and while it will be aropund 42k i was thinking i will recover part of it over next 10 years. But as a car and comfort I like RDX a lot. Dont know how ride quality on Model 3 will be compared to a RDX.
Anyone else went through this or similar predicament. Or any guidamnce if 2017 RDX tech with 29000 miles is a good buy?
Do most people turn in their RDX or buy them back?

 

I think it depends what you want. If you're really looking to save money, buying a new luxury car vs. keeping the one you have is going to be far more expensive, even with a modest savings in fuel. $80,000+ for Tesla vs maybe 25-30k for RDX. Both would probably last 10 years. $125/month savings on fuel is almost inconsequential in the calculation. No idea what most people do with their RDX lease, but you should make the decision that makes sense for you.
