Hi all,
If you need any factory service manual data, please ask here and I will upload them.
Having all the service manual data in one location helps all users on this forum to locate them easily.
If you need other vehicles, I can fulfill your request but it may take a while. I will do this for other Acura vehicles only and on a limited basis.
Hope you understand, this is the second generation RDX forum.
Thank You

Ken, Dave isn't on the forum anymore, because he lost access to the manual, which his company was paying for.
You can buy access, during which you can download copies of the pages containing the information you want/need. The manual itself is not available, but if you buy access for long enough, you can download the entire thing.
Otherwise, there are other resources; this forum is one of them. There are a lot of youtube videos; there are a few other forums, but none as active as this one.
I always bought the Helm manual for my previous Hondas, but as I understand it, those are not available either; Honda realized they could fuck us out of a great deal more money by selling page-by-page access.
Good luck.

Please help, need the FSM pages that shows how to replace the A/C expansion valve and the A/C receiver dryer. I'm having my mechanic evacuate the Freon and recharge the system once I've replaced the parts. Just need some guidance and there's nothing better than the FSM.
Please and thank you, I will be so appreciated if you can print to PDF for me.

I advise you to change the A/C condenser and dryer at the same time. It's not expensive (I recommend to put high quality NISSENS 941234, from RockAuto November 1 I paid $135 for it).

Your reply is directly above.
Thank you, very straightforward and seems easy with the correct tools. I see something that looks like a gasket that calls for replacement, where they're removing the evaporator core cover. Do you know what that is?
Appreciate the recommendations, exactly what I was looking for.

The service manual became another way to extract money from customers, some years back. It is not available to sell, but you can rent access to it. Search in this thread for a link to at least one place to do so. That is why Dave started this thread years ago, but his company lost access to the manual (they chose to stop paying for that access), and he doesn't come here any more.

2015 RDX fluid requirments
What type of transmission oil can I use in a 2015 RDX, I was told Valvoline synthetic would work and e less costly than the Accrue transmission oil. Also what type / brand of oil is required in the transfer case and differential of AWD 2015 RDX.

For anyone interested: 8hours acces in the US is $30.
If you create an online account you can access the part catalog too and can make a shopping list VIN based, much nicer than through vendor websites.

Can you please post torque values for the nuts/bolts associated with removing and replacing the struts on a 2016 RDX? I watched a few videos online, but none of them indicate torque specifications.
Thanks in advance!

CORRECTION! I’ve made a mistake on my very first post! I’m probably incapable of doing the steering rack and pinion replacement job because my model vehicle is an RDX, yet I typed MDX. I’m embarrassed but I still would like to request the factory manual procedures for my 2016 Acura RDX. Thank you…

I believe I read in here that the original poster lost access to the service manuals. I have quite a few in a drop box if there is something missing form this thread. Mostly 12-15, but a few sections I have for all model years.

![Question](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/icons/icon5.gif)
What is the service interval to change out the transmission filter and engine coolant? I am coming up on 100k miles. Still running perfect. Thanks!
#354
Trans filter and coolant service intervals
I have read on multiple sites that Honda coolant will last 5 years. The dealership site states that coolant should be replaced every 45K miles. But I have replaced coolant based on age (I chose 4 years), because my 2016 is relatively low mileage.
Here's a link to a thread here that includes a PDF of the procedure: https://acurazine.com/forums/2g-rdx-...oolant-981795/

My local dealership's web site indicates the trans filter should be replaced every 30k - 50k miles.

Other dealership web sites that provide a general maintenance schedule for the RDX have ZERO info on replacing the filter at any mileage prior to or even at 120k.

I trust two things: 1) what the factory manual states and 2) common sense. Seems to have worked for me in almost 50 years of vehicle ownership with some vehicles owned for as long as 16 years. Of course, I do my own maintenance and repairs so costs are near zero in comparison to dealership or shop costs.
The factory recommended spark plug change on another car is 4 years or 40,000 miles and all this BS talk on the forums from people that have zilch knowledge. I am not worried about mileage as my sports car had about 9984 km or 6204 miles on it after just over 7 years since new. But I removed them, cleaned the threads and applied a flash coating of anti-seize on the threads to make sure they would not seize. Yeah, I know what NGK states about not using an anti-seize but they are not the ones buying me new cylinder heads when spark plugs do seize. Been using anti-seize on everything from motorcycles to cars to aircraft. Same with the Mobil 1 synthetic. My last oil change was well under 1000 miles but replacing the oil annually is cheaper than paying for a Used Oil Analysis.

Dave's not here, man. He lost access to the online manuals a couple of years ago. If you look back in this thread, you'll find where I've shared the access you can buy on a per-day basis. The documentation Dave shared while he had access is still here, as well, although I can't recall if that includes the documentation for changing the coolant.
