I need to replace me power Liftgate Lock Actuator Latch (74800-SZN-A01) on my Acura RDX 2018 tech package.
Would you be able to kindly post the PDF to explain how can I open the liftgate trim and replace the latch ?
I will also need to reset the error after I replace the part.
Any idea how to reset the error ?

I got your first message as I am subscribed to the thread. Please do no double post.

I can only access the manuals from work as the access to the manuals are locked to my work IP address.
Patience is needed because of this restriction and the busy holiday season along vacations.
I will get your request filled as soon as I can since I am on vacation. I already contacted a co-worker on the 17th after your first post to email me the manuals.

Here is the service manual on replacing the latch.
You need a scanner capable of reading and clearing B codes.

My 2013 RDX isn't starting. I hear a single click when trying to start the car. Tried jumping the battery but no luck, I think it could be the starter.

Can you share 2016 Advance parking sensors (front and back) wiring diagram?
Do you know if the sensors used in Advance package (39680-TX4-A01ZF + 39681-TX4-A01ZF) and back-up sensors from accessories (08V67-TX4-210J) are the same?

Hello atis,
Don't know if the two different types of sensors are compatible. One sensor is factory installed with factory computer, the aftermarket one is using a different computer and setup.

regarding the front and rear parking sensors, could you please help to see if there is any documentation for INSTALLING the front parking sensors, please?

I recently own a 2017 rdx tech and would like to add parking sensors, which those advance model have. Don’t know if anyone knows it will simply plug and play, without going for dealer labor charges.

There are no accessory front parking sensors, only rear ones as far as I can tell.
I also don't see, on the dealer accessory sites like Bernardi, rear sensors for the 2013-2015.

Honda does not do things that way. The Advance will have a completely different wiring harness.

ok I see, the MID and Dashboard seems different from Advance model, so even I install it would only get beeps.
Curious if I install the back sensors in front, will it detect correctly.
I would replace the control signal, originally for backup light, to a signal triggered once the speed is below 10 miles per hour. How is that idea? lol
Now the problem is, is there a signal shows up like this??

Hello artj14,

Here is the troubleshooting for the gauge control module. Without a specific fault code, I can't give you the specific troubleshooting. Attached is the wiring diagram for the Gauge system. Hope this helps.

Thank you very much. The problem I am having is I cannot cycle through the displays on the multi information display from the steering wheel controls. And I cannot cycle through the trip meters or reset them via the knob at the gauge cluster. So there are no fault codes that I am aware of. Thanks again.

Hi Dave,

On #11, it only shows the "Troubleshooting Index" and there is no steps to do the Self-Diagnostic test of the HVAC system.

All 4 pdf files mention the "Climate control DTCs".
NOTE: Before testing the motor, check for climate control DTCs

Hello T

There is "NO" self diagnostic testing for the HVAC system, this is an Acura. The system is connected to the can bus and therefore all testing and diagnostics is done through the Honda HDS. If you have a professional scan tool like the Bosch ADS 625 you may have access to the HVAC module for testing.

Invest in a professional Scan tool, It may cost $4000 but it is the only way to work on modern Luxury cars.

The reason for the troubleshooting index is for troubleshooting without fault codes and from symptoms only.

Attached is the in-car temp sensor replacement.

Like I said before "There is "NO self Diagnostics" for this vehicle. What you are referencing is for a 2004 to 2008 TLX. Those vehicles are pre CAN bus and is old technology that is over 10 years old and obsolete.

AGAIN NO SELF DIAGNOSTICS.....

Hello atis,

Here is the headlight circuit, it includes the combination switch, as for the MICU it includes information pertaining to light circuit. There is no individual diagram for the MICU, it is integrated into too many systems.

I looked at my service manuals numerous times and did not find any self diagnostics for the HVAC system. I called my friend who works at Honda and he has access to Honda service Express. He found the information your looking for.

Sorry if I was blunt, I spent way too many hours on this request and was starting to get annoyed.
