While washing my 2014 RDX today I noticed the build date on a sticker inside the drivers door. It said Sept 2013. I thought that was interesting since I purchased the car during the first week of Oct 2013. It did not take very long to get the car to CA. When I picked the car out it was on the back lot with about 10 other tech pkg AWD vehicles. Now I'm wondering how long it actually takes to build one from start to finish and how many do they build in a 24 hour period.

I also read somewhere that the RDX has over 70% of its components made in the US which makes it the 7th most US car sold (if you can follow what I'm saying). The only major part I can find made out of the country is the transmission which is made in Japan. So that is another great reason to own one, designed in CA and manufactured in Ohio!
