Post RDX 2016 Elite color help (Canada)

Hey guys,
Help me decide what color to choose. Almost done buying the Elite pkg w/Protection pkg, Total Price : 52813.7 (CAD).

(also if u can provide the reason why you suggest that color)

1. BASQUE RED PEARL w/Parchment
2. KONA COFFEE w/Parchment
3. OBSIDIAN BLUE PEARL w/Greystone
4. WHITE DIAMOND PEARL w/Ebony or w/Parchment

Thanks

White diamond pearl looks the best on the outside and keeps the car cool (I read somewhere that a black car is 2 degrees hotter than a white car due to heat absorption. This can also affect your fuel mileage).

The black interior looks cleaner and won't stain easily like the other colours...

Blue pearl with Greystone.

Why?
1. You don't see a lot of them so you can ID your car quicker.
2. The blue color highlights a little bit of style and taste to the driver.
3. If given lots of TLC (wash, polish, wax,...etc), Blue car stands out.
4. Blue color looks very slick in a sea of white colored cars.
Why NOT?
1. Blue color highlights scratches very easily and can be irritating for individuals who like to keep their car clean and shinny.
2. Blue color highlights door dings and stains.
3. Harder to color match accessories with Greystone interior.
4. Blue color cars, when combined with the right driver, might have a "chick magnet" factor.

Why White color?
1. Easy to maintain.
2. Scratches do not stand out compared to other cars.
Why not?
1. White color does not highlight a good wax/detail job.
2. Exterior is plain white thus color only highlights interior.

Note: A white colored car does NOT make your car cooler and does not have any impact on fuel economy. Climate control system can have an impact on fuel economy but you can always open the windows.

The interior of the car, if a light color is chosen, might have an impact on heat absorption; however the difference in heat absorption from a light color interior vs a dark color interior will be minimal. You can always tint your windows.

At the end of the day, you decide the color you like.

Blue Pearl with Graystone...without question

The only darker interior choice you offered without a white exterior

Dark inside is easier to keep looking clean, and a darker exterior is just cool

Parchment leather requires maintenance. As a SINK (single income no kid) driving this vehicle as a commuter - the parchment leather will pick up colors from things like new jeans. You will need to keep leather wipes handy.

Want us to vote on what color underwear you're going to wear tomorrow, too?

If I can add anything of value to this thread, it's that gray and white cars tend to have a higher resale value, statistically speaking.

I chose obsidian blue on grey.

I chose that colour because I expect it to be very rare in the future, also because the grey is rather creamy and I actually really liked it, never expected to. It would POP with a nice wax job and some tlc, well the kona, blue, and red would all look good.
I also would take a serious look at the basque red pearl, for the same reasons as above.
