One month in my RDX review
Pros
Comfortable seating.
Good sound system
Handles pretty good
Good power
I like it's size
I love the Tech.
Even though there's too much interior hard plastics,I like the dash layout and styling.
No rattles/creaks.
The '16 finally has rear A/C vents,blind spot monitors,fog lights,LED taillights etc.
Great bang for the buck.
Minor Cons
No light flashing when remote started.
No LED fogs
Voice recognition like just about all systems not so good.
MPGs not good but should improve
Coming out of a couple of Lexus RX350's (not in another because I don't like the new styling),the RDX ride is fairly harsh with some thumping sounds over minor bumps and some highway wind noise. Not really too big of a deal to me,though.I'm getting used to it.
Big Con
Rear suspension hit hard and loud on certain bumps.
Might be more Pros and Cons but that's all I can think of right now.
So everything considered at this point I'm pretty satisfied with the RDX.

Acura/Honda's have always had a stiffer suspension and tended to carry road sounds into the cabin more than other brands. Sort of the expectation that I have when comparing (dating back to our first 90 Integra).
In regards to the rear suspension - the issue is the top shock mount, and the only solution is the updated aftermarket KYB (I believe) shock designed for the 2nd gen RDX's that has the proper top shock mounts. Those who have upgraded the rear shocks indicate the problem goes away.

Sure doesn't help Acura when I have passengers and they feel and hear the rear bang over certain type bumps.Definitely surprises them.
If I would have hit those type of bumps on my test ride,I wouldn't have went with the RDX.
Oh well.I'm glad I didn't buy it.
Fortunately, those type of bumps that cause the bang and hard hit are not too common.

They checked the suspension and I was told the usual 'we found nothing wrong'and the 'it's normal'.
If the '16 is an improvement over the '13-'15,I can't imaging how bad the problem is/was in those models.
I'll have them check again next service.

As far as I know only a few cars are affected and those are pretty bad. I have a 14 model and still waiting to hear that sound. Some people told me I would hear it in the winter. But two bad winters have passed by without a squeak .

I have to find a bump and go over it a couple time and record.
My '16 is a 12/15 build.
Last 6 VIN# 022123.
I had a '09 BMW 335i RWD with sports suspension and that sucker would hit hard and loud in the rear.Scare the hell out of you.Known on the BMW forums as a 'pot hole explosion'.
The RDX is not nearly as bad but still too loud and hard for a $40+K Tier 2 luxury vehicle.
