Just signed up, and picked up a 2016 RDX Tech yesterday. Happy to be back in the Acura family - I once had a 1.7 EL, but lost that in a divorce Upgraded from a Murano that was costing me too much to keep on the road.

Congrats! Yes more pictures please, and with folded mirrors as banana13 has asked.
I have a favor to ask, can the current owners tell me the width of Rdx with the mirrors? I only found one old thread that someone said was 87". If that is acurate, that would leave me with only 3" total (1.5" each side) to drive Rdx into my garage. Yes I would love to have white with black interior which they don't offer in U.S., but the width is the main issue that holds me back from getting a 2016 Rdx.
Thanks in advance!

$700 worth of custom work on the right front bumper and garage door frame
Only ONE of the factors influencing our decision to keep or trade at lease end...under two months to go. BTW, we have about 3" on either side; but the driveway doesn't allow an easy approach...a three-point maneuver is indicated!

I have not measured, but I don't think the RDX body is a lot wider than our previous cars (never had a SUV before), but I'm guessing that the side mirrors are larger and stick out further. Power folding mirrors would probably help.

Sorry for the delay - also she's gotten a bit dirty
I have the width (with the mirrors folded in) at 78 inches.

There is a button on the drivers door near the power window controls. I don't believe there is a setting to enable it automatically - at least I haven't found it.

I like the idea of power folding mirrors, and am also frustrated that the US models from Acura/Honda don't offer them. And one of the vehicles in my family stable actually has power fold mirrors - although it's probably the one that needs them the least. My son's '08 Mini Cooper has them! The way they work is when you turn the mirror adjustment knob to either the right or left, if you turn it one click further in either direction the mirrors fold in. Now, as to WHY the Mini has power fold mirrors? I'm guessing so you can run thru drain pipes like in the Italian Job - or something like that.

Interesting that I never really considered this feature to be necessary, but the more I think of it, I would LOVE having folding side mirrors. I can't tell you how many times I've accidentally ran into our MDX mirror when scooting between the cars in the garage.

US does have folding mirrors, just not powered (at least my '15 does). The sales guy showed me how they work. Almost felt like I was about to break them. Folding them by hand is rather inconvenient, but we do have the option.
