I have read that the new accord coming out late this summer will have a new V6 to replace the 3.5 VCM.This engine will also find its way into the RDX.I currently have a 2008 accord with this engine and it has plenty issues.I test drove a new RDX last week and found it to be very nice.Anyone have any info on this new V6?

 

I think you are referring to the new Earth Dreams engines. Try a google search. These will eventually replace all Honda engines. Not sure what parts are reused from earlier engines. The new engines are direct injection and are supposed to be more FE with a little more power.

There are new transmissions too, notably a CVT on the 4 cyl engines
