I did a search regarding - how many gallons remain when this light kicks on. It was stated 1-2 gallons in a previous thread. A service tech at the dealership stated 5 gallons. Which is a more accurate statement??? 5 gallons seems a bit high to me.

Test it and definitively find out!! It's different per car but between 1-5 from what I've seen.

well, the owners manual WILL give you fluid capacities....
then, go fill up at the pump and then use math to figure out the difference

the RDX has a 16 gallon tank....
How much fuel are you putting in at the pump?
12-13 gallons?

16 - 13 = 3 gallon reserve

The low fuel light comes on for me when the MID range view shows 40 miles. After it hits 0, I can get another 20 miles out of the tank. Based on my average fuel economy, that would mean there's about 3 gallons in the tank when the low fuel light comes on.
