Cool Issues with 2014 RDX

My RDX is about a year old now, I've put around 13k on it so far. But I started having fews issues already, and wondering if anyone faced the same?

1:: Passenger side airbag would randomly turn off, with my wife occupying the seat! First few times, we thought it might be caused by small bags/ loose items placed on the floor in front of the passenger seat, but during our last 700 miles trip, I made sure nothing is on the floor, and we still had this warning come up at least 5 times!

2:: Cruise control won't brake to maintain steady speed. On the downhill, we went over 70, in a 50mph road, with cruise control set to 50!

3:: The car would slowly drift to the right

4:: "Tighen Fuel cap" this message is showing up randomly every few days!

For #1, I guess your wife is pretty light? It's a safety feature that it will turn off the passenger airbag if a child sits on it.

for #3, guess you may need an alignment.

#4: buy a new gas cap, even if it doesn't fix the problem at least you won't have spent a lot of money.

In the owner's manual, this limit is mentioned to be 30lbs or lighter. My wife is close to 100lbs. So I'm guessing a bad sensor?

Do I need to spend money on this? I thought everything like this is covered under the basic manufacturer warranty for the first 4 years or 50k?!

I don't think you should spend money on any of these. These issues should be covered by manufacturer warranty. The only issue is for the dealer to replicate the problem. Try a 100 pound sand bag on the seat to replicate the problem consistently.
Regarding cruise control, that's the way the RDX is set up and it's not a defect in your car. I understand some other cars do use their brakes. I believe this issue should already be addressed with the ACC in the 2016 update.

Is it that much $ to begin with?, if you don't wanna spend a dime go to the dealer and get everything fixed there under warranty.

Regarding "Tighen Fuel cap" message

My 2014 RDX started throwing the same message about month ago and eventually started showing "Check Emission System".
This happened twice within a month.
Dropped of the car at the dealer for second time. They just called and upgrading the system software. Hoping this fixes the problem.
