I'm 31, wife is 30, we have a 10 yr old daughter. Traded an 08 Pilot on the 13 RDX Base in Jan of 2013. The Pilot was mine and we really didn't need the space, I also wanted something a little more fun to drive. Shortly after we bought the RDX, the wife decided it was hers. I traded her 09 Accord on an A4. Now we have 2 cars that are fun to drive ;-).
Also, wanted to add that"Colorado Guy" is probably over 60 because he made the same stupid claim about baby boomers being able to afford Corvettes because of all of their years of hard work. This is bullshit. I am not a baby boomer and I work hard and make $150k + but really can't afford a Corvette because of the ridiculous cost of putting my daughter through college and the mortgage that is a much higher percentage of my income than baby boomers.
Baby boomer comments always crack me up. I guess when you get that old you have to say something to justify your relevance. Hope I am not like that when I get old....
I know this is an old thread but I nought I'd add my comments.
I'm a 31 year old mom of a toddler. This vehicle is perfect for us at the moment, son's car seat fits great in the middle (still rear facing too). I wish there was a center LATCH option though. The lack of rear a/c vents is a pain but we bought a Noggle to redirect the air to DS.
I told my husband I want another RDX when this lease is up. I think 2 kids would be just fine in the vehicle.

Hi young Mom, just a quick thing to keep in mind from an old Mom. When the second child comes, life is so much easier with a vehicle with the third row seats. As they grow they can each have their own row, set it up with their own things and not be in close proximity to each other. I've been there and just thought I'd share our experience.
I'm 40, but the wife who is the primary driver is 38. We have no kids and no plans to have any. We bought this vehicle so that we could have room to tote around our Boston Terrier and Pug in their crates. They are very much our children.
Just over 55 - needed something comfortable and somewhat economical for my 36-mile (one-way) commute. I also need something to use with my bike rack and my light kayak trailer so the receiver will come in handy.
My wife drove it yesterday for the first time. She likes it but it's comfortable with the size. (She's from Brazil and most of the cars in the US feel too large for her!)
^^ I drove a 10 year old Pontiac Acadian when I was 20!! You are doing well my friend
^^^When I was 20 I was driving a 11 year old Honda Accord. I actually just retired that car last month and bought a 06 TL. I plan to keep this car for at least 10 years, hopefully more.

Dang, easy there. Good on you for working hard but also look at costs as well. Homes is a big factor that people, in my own opinion, probably spend a bit too much on and also my kids would probably have to foot at least 50% of their college. Aint no way I'm giving them a free ride

Sounds about right. Luxury makes are usually going to be older people. When I took my new-to-me TL to the dealer to get the state safety inspection, I was a good 20years younger than the other people waiting in the service lounge area. Forums will likely attract some of the younger people because older guys are either not gonna check out forums or too busy frolicking in the tropics, heh.
Anyway, I don't own a RDX but the lady that I bought my 06 TL from just bought a 2015 RDX and she's probably in her late 50s to early 60s.
