Greasy Interior on Brand New RDX

Just picked up a new 18 RDX, enjoying it so far. However, the dealer applied some kind of protectant on the interior of the car. IT's all over the leatherette seats and the soft touch surfaces on the dash, door, etc. It's pretty slippery/greasy feeling. Dealer told me they apply it in case the car sits in sun for a while before selling, to protect the interior and that it would go away in time. It's a bit annoying, do I just let this eventually dry/evaporate away, or is there something I can do to wipe/clean it off? Just a dry towel didn't really do much.

Thanks!

You could try a 1:6 dilution of woolite/water in a sprayer with a microfiber. I find this to be an excellent all around cleaner.

i'd try taking a dry microfiber cloth to the whole interior to wipe any greasiness...
if the dry microfiber isnt cutting, try the woolite/water dilution

Clean towel slightly moistened with water and wipe it down. No big deal. PS. Congrats on a new 2018!

Another vote for micro-fiber cloth first. I'm just guessing, but It sounds like they used Armor All, which is known to leave a greasy residue. It's cheap and popular, but enthusiasts tend to stay away from that product for that reason.

To each its own. Hondas and Acuras are great vehicles.
