Enhancements?
So, I've had my RDX for about 6 weeks now. It's been through the daily/weekly routine.
What enhancements should I look at to improve over all ride?
It seems fine now, but I'm sure if I tweak something, add or upgrade or two, I'll be like, "OH! This is soooo much better!" I want to feel that difference. I have a road trip coming up, so I might as well upgrade something.
A complete suspension package? shorter stiffer springs?
Throw some advice over the fence!

modifications are personal.
we cant suggest things to you because our likes, wants, needs are different than your likes, wants and needs.
when modifying, there needs to be a clear goal. in which then you can take steps to achieve that goal (hey, kinda like life!)
you can start by asking yourself a few questions about your car that only you can answer!
is there something that you want to improve?
is there something lacking that you can add that will improve your daily experience?
ask these questions about the drive, the experience, the aesthetics, etc.
Once you figure out the end goal, it will make it a lot easier to modify the car, without asking for unwarranted suggestions; like a clown horn.

browse what our vendors have for you.
again, it is baseless if we suggest pointless items. pick and choose what YOU want!

so, one of the most basic mods that any one can do is tint your gawyam car!
have the car tinted and it will the biggest transformation of your car....
except, you shouldnt do mods for the sake of...."might as well upgrade something, because well, I dont know what I want"
tinting a car is more functional than for looks. a side effect of keeping things cool and shaded inside the car, is it transforms the way the vehicle looks.
again, you need a clear end goal

Null and proud of it
I'd also throw full interior/exterior LEDs out there, never a bad ideal...
Maybe some good floor liners to keep the carpets clean, i.e. WeatherTech...
As for road feel, better tires, good performing ones... You can get a wheel/tire set at Tire Rack if you want more options of your stock wheel doesn't have good performance tire options...
I'd look very hard for suspension info if I were you as there are many ways to go regarding suspensions...
Tint is an excellent idea though and will help big time...
Best of luck!!!

I put about 20,000 miles per year on the road and I find the best enhancement are:
- having good tires (less road noise, improved braking traction, excellent extreme weather capabilities)
- able to adjust PSI for best ride (higher in winter, lower PSI in summer, better ride feel, less wear, better handling)
- alignment (less tire wear, proper tracking on hwy, less wear on suspension parts, less effort to drive with less driver fatigue)
- balance (road force balance with new tires, less wear on tires, smoother ride)
- rotations/cross rotations every oil change (even out wear, keeps road noise down, tires last longer)
Other minor things I use for traveling are:
- 3M clear bra
- upgraded my HIDs
- all weather mats and cargo mat
- Window tint
- Blackvue 2ch front/back dash cam (people drive crazy in other states)
- full size spare
- tq wrench
- 2 sets of wheel locks (aftermarket rims)
- Windex window wet wipes (for those stubborn baked on bug guts on windshield wipers can't remove)

Are you looking at appearance mods or performance / functional mods?
Window Tints, running boards/ side steps, will offer both.
Appearance mods can include LED lights (interior, door, number plate, etc). Roof rails, mud flaps, side scaffoldings (in case your car doesn't have those) or even a good detailing / opticoat/ clearbra, will help. Good luck

I'm looking first for performance / functional mods. Since I have the road trip coming up, I want to make sure the handling is at it's best (maybe better than now if it's current state is average) for a comfy ride and best mileage.
It's a new-to-me 2013 base. It came with back up camera, clear bra, tint on all windows with the passenger and hatch/trunk darker than then front windows, and good (not great) tires. But even though they're new, I may look at getting new ones.
I already ordered the all weather mats, and I'm looking at a headlight upgrade.
@ mrgold, I like your road trip list...i always forget what bug guts can do.
This is my fourth car in the last 3 years. After my third, I FINALLY knew exactly what I wanted up front and what I could take care of over time. My final check list grew and included everything from initial cost, reliability after 100k, auto insurance, cost of major repairs and maintenance, comfort, and part availability.
Thanks for all the suggestions!

Do nothing and enjoy the ride!
remember, modifying or deviating away from stock will ALWAYS produce a less reliable ride.
meaning; you're going to have to, excuse my french, fuck with the car more often.
