Brought my brake squeaks issue to Acura Dealership...
Since I've owned this vehicle (1 year and 4 months now with over 30,000 km's), the brakes would squeak at low speeds. A few others have had a similar problem. Other than the squeak, the brakes were fantastic. They respond almost instantly and stop almost immediately. Saved me on the highway once when the guy in front of me put on his brakes too fast (my collision mitigation system also kicked in). At my second service appointment, I brought the brakes issue up. They told me it was normal and it was just the brakes engaging and disengaging. Though I knew they were wrong, I didn't want to wait for more work to be done that day, so I left it. At my third service appointment, I brought it up again, this time I printed an Acura technical service bulletin and brought it with me. They reproduced the squeaky sounds this time and replaced both my front and rear brakes and lubed the calipers at the same time they did my regular scheduled maintenance. GREAT service this time around. Was all done in a little over an hour and the brakes seem fine now (you can still hear very small sounds when the brakes are engaged from a stop but it's hardly noticeable to me) and the brakes still function amazingly. In addition, they give complementary car washes. It's a good day today--got new brakes for free (under warranty) and free car wash. YEAH!! Besides that issue and the rare inexplicable random but minor technical glitch that happens just once and never happens again after that, it's been a great ownership experience and I highly recommend this vehicle.

Still with the same girl. She looks even better than before because she gained a bit of weight (was a bit too skinny before). I stick to one girl though others are interested because I have a 9.5 (when girls see you with a hot girl they want you more) and yes, driving a luxury vehicle such as an Acura definitely helps. Frequently get compliments from girls with their eyes bulging out: "NICCCE car!!"

I did not comment anything on the car wash aspect so far. Not sure why you quoted my post.
BTW my Acura dealer also gives me free washes every time I service the car there, which I'm okay with. I'd be worried about swirls too but I haven't seen any problem in regular light on casual inspection so far (I do not care for swirls visible under special lighting conditions). I do hand washes also occasionally in addition to regular car washes at my location.

yes, be sure to put plenty of lube on your brake rotor, and for good measure, on your brake pad as well. I promise, you'll never hear squeaky brakes again!
