Hey guys,

I was at the SilverHill Acura dealership yesterday getting my scheduled maintenance on my '13 RDX here in Calgary and asked if they knew when the '16 RDX's will be arriving in Canada. More specifically the accessories for it I was curious about. I'm really interested in the chrome door trim and illuminated door sills that are presented on the USA Acura website (acura.com). Does anybody know if those accessories will be backwards compatible with the '13 RDX's? They look really sharp from what I can see and am so tempted to get them.

Don't know, but I would like someone to try fit a '16 grille on a 13-15 model.

I started poking at this very subject with Tim at oemacuraparts.com and here's what we came up with. The chrome door trim will work because the bottom trim is unchanged on the '16 . The lighted sills will fit but the harness connector on the body is new for '16 so you would have to do some wiring.

Anyone curious about the fit of their Weather Tech floor liners and Cargo Liner from a '13/'15 RDX to the '16 RDX...no worries.


They are the SAME part #'s. The basic interior dimensions have not changed. So, for me, I'm keeping mine...putting the orig. carpets back in and using the Weather Techs for my new '16. Saves some money there for sure!
