B14 Service - why only 1 and 4?
I finally got the dreaded B14 service minder on my 2013 RDX non AWD. Car hit 105K.
I know that the "4' indicates to change the plugs, timing belt, and inspect water pump.
I assumed that once I got to the major 105K service reminder, it would pop B12345? Not just B14? Wouldn't this typically be the service that also wants you to replace both air filters, transmission fluid, and coolant at the same time too?
Here is my dilemma. I've been following the MID since I've had the car and I've already done the 105K service a couple month before the MID popped on. I replaced everything mentioned above because I anticipated that the MID would tell me I needed those all replaced.
With that said, does that mean "theoretically" I could get thrown off now from the MID in the future? For example, it might signal me to change my trans fluid or air filters on my next service when I've already done it in the 105K service??

Yeah.. thanks for the tip. I just assumed the 105K service usually calls for all I mentioned. Especially from what I've read online what people typically do during this service.
I guess with that said.. at what mileage does our car want us to change the coolant?? I changed my coolant because I also had my thermostat changed and of course the water pump but that's preventative.. but if I didn't.. at what mile does the MID let us know typically? I would imagine 105K would be it.
Like I said.. I just usually follow the MID for trans fluid and air filters. I don't tow, don't live in hot/cold weather, don't live in dusty conditions. But I can see how those can be changed more frequently I suppose.
