Acura Canada July sale proves something about the RDX
2017 RDX $2500 off
TLX $4500 off
ILX $4500
MDX $4000
The July sale price off the RDX is the least of all their vehicles. Why is that? My theory is that Acura makes the least profit off the RDX. What does that mean to the buyer? It might be the best buy of the bunch. Though if anyone is looking to buy a Honda Accord or Civic, why not just upgrade to the ILX since it is $4500 off? Around the same price as an Accord...

I'd venture out to say that the SUV/Crossover market is pretty hot right now.... The RDX is a very good selling car that doesn't need incentives to move. The MDX might be a bit pricey and the 2017 mid-cycle refresh just went on sale, which would justify a slightly higher incentive. Also, you're comparing the 2017 model year versus 2016s, which they are starting to try to push out the door.
I personally cross shopped the Accord vs ILX back in 2013 -- Unusual, but I was coming from an Accord, but didn't really need the space. The Acura was better put together and was right about the same price as an Accord EX-L Navi V6. Since I didn't need the space, I went with the ILX Hybrid (Gas prices were very high at the time). A family will likely opt for the Accord for the greater space In addition, many buyers don't realize that Acura is owned by Honda or are just content to keep getting Hondas. Also, the majority of Civic/Accord buyers are base trim buyers - Not as many people are doling out $30k+ for an Accord, but thats another story.

The only reason the incentives are so high on the MDX is because the face lifted model is coming soon. Dealers need to move old stock and make room for the face lifted stock.
ILX and TLX have big incentives, because today's vehicle buyers all want SUVs or Crossovers, as opposed to sedans.
And again, Rockyboy is a tool.

No no, that is crazy talk. What is wrong with you? Clearly Acura needs to have a commercal with a bunch of playboy bunnies playing in soap cleaning the car...that would make them sell for sure! Oh and since rockcock is 12, he would get some fapping material since his mom doesn't let him watch porn.

Play boy bunnies will never get old for me....but let's take thid a step further to be even less offensive, they should do the add with genderless people. Because gender is very offensive

Hmmmm..... IDK if an ad with eunuchs would work or not, but the RDX would be ahead of the curve in its advertising.
