2018 Cargo Cover In A 2013?
Hi everyone,
I recently saw someone put up a 2018 RDX cargo cover for sale somewhere, but I have a 2013 RDX. Does anyone know if it would fit (Considering it is the same generation) and if there are any instructions as to how it is installed? Thanks for all the help.

I cannot answer your fitment question, but I learned something from it; Hondas have a 5-year 'generation', and I did not pay enough attention to the titles in this forum, which clearly show a 6-year generation for the RDX.
I would look at OEM sites (Bernardi, etc.) to see if the cargo cover fits; Amazon sellers seem to think it would, looking at the lists of what models this part would fit (although Amazon isn't selling the OEM part).

I'd be hesitant to buy it for your 2013. One thing we learned on this forum is there is a difference in the rear cover from the Base to the Tech & Advance. At least this is the case for the 2017 Acura RDX.
Also the RDX had a refresh for 2016. I'm not sure how much was changed to the interior dimensions.

I'll probably pass on it then. I looked at the installation instructions and I don't really wanna bother now lmao. If it was a simple snap in place part than I would take a chance on it.

I checked online and for the 2018 and 2013, they are both the same part number. I placed an offer, and the seller accepted it. All together I'm only paying $26 for it, which I think is a steal.

Some models, mostly the larger v-6 ones, have a six year interval. Year 4 of that is a mid cycle refresh. In our generation of RDX, the center stack changed in the Tech models to to double screens.
The VCM changed in 2016 to Honda's 3rd generation, 3 or 6 only no 4,5 or 6. I think the advance package was was also introduced in 2016.
I think Accords & Civics do have a 5 year interval.

It fit perfectly and looks great. It only took like 5 minutes to install. The one I got for $26 is a Honda genuine part which makes me even happier!
