2016 RDX "Setup" Button
Need some help and, yes, I have read the manual. I'm playing with things on the new car I picked up yesterday, for instance compass calibration and zone. The manual reads "Press and hold the SETUP button until the display shows the compass setting menu." So --- where is this setup button? There is a "settings" button but pressing and holding that just gets you a sore finger. What am I missing? Please help.

That doesn't work. Just wastes gas and still get sore finger.

I Driver 1 key inside the car? (and, Driver 2 key away from the car?)
"Settings" button should bring up a menu on the nav screen that can be engaged from the whiz wheel. |

Did you try going into the Nav menu then pressing settings? My compass didn't need any setup... if I press the "i" button on my steering wheel it will cycle to a compass also.

It's only for base version. On 2016 models with nav, there's no calibration.

It would make sense that the GPS nav makes it so no fiddling is required and therefore no provision is made for said fiddling. Seems they should include a disclaimer however, like they do about clock setting.
