2016 Graphite Gray Metallic

2016 Graphite Gray Metallic
I had a 2014 RDX that I only kept for about 6 months, then traded it because of the VCM vibration issue and clunking rear suspension. With the 2016 there is no clunking at all, and I extensively test drove it on multiple/varied road surfaces. It feels fairly planted, and while the ride is firm I feel it's acceptable.
The active engine mounts and switch to VCM III has also made a difference, as I can't detect any vibration when it changes between the two modes. My '14 had a pronounced vibration that could be felt in the seat, gas pedal, etc., but this one is smooth all the way up to 90+ mph.
With the changes to things that were problems in my original RDX, plus the MMC refresh with BSM, jewel eye lighting, updated radio/nav system, rear vents, passenger seat height adjustment, etc., this is the way it should have been originally. Hopefully I'll have many enjoyable miles with this one.

I have a 2013 AWD that I am considering trading for the 2016 AWD Advance. I have also experienced numerous annoyances with my RDX, which I partially attribute to it being one of the very first of the new model to come off the assembly line. Did Acura offer a reasonable trade in value on your 2014?

BTW, my 2014 exhibits none of the issues you have. Good luck with your 16.
