Private seller, 2015 RDX w/ Tech Package, AWD, 63,000 miles, 2nd owner (first was a 2 year Lease up til 28K miles, then bought by current owner as certified pre-owned), says he travels a lot for work each week, so has put a lot of miles during his 21 months of ownership. CarFax looks clean.

Said he gets a new car every 2 years is the reason for selling.

Clean title, says has not been in any accidents and has no mechanical issues.

Listed for sale at $19K. When I plug the specs into KBB, I see Trade-In Value of $14,858-$16,959 and Private Party Value of $17,598-$20,077 when categorized as "Good". I believe he ran similar specs, but classified the vehicle as "Excellent" which I know KBB says is only 3% of vehicles, which bumped the Private Party Value Range to $18,668-$21,127 in the "Excellent" category.

This fits the narrow exterior/interior I am interested in (Black/Black) as well. Does this seem like a fair price? Anything I am missing? It appears to be an ideal fit.

 

KBB says private party value = $19,810.Looks like a good deal to Me.

 

I agree...$19k is a decent price. Offer $18k and see where it goes...

 

If you like the particular color combo interior/ exterior and are okay with the standard specs of the car and the price range falls within what KBB advises, I don’t see any problem in buying; considering that it would be unlikely to get an exact car like this in the immediate future in your specific location (unless you live in a big city with plenty of RDXs around).
