2014 MDX Tech vs 2015 RDX Tech (Advance?)
I'm fishing for facts, predictions, and opinions...
We've driven a 2014 MDX Tech, and a 2014 RDX Tech. Both are great, but very different rides. The question covered in many similar threads is this - what is likely to come out in a high end 2015 RDX, particularly the Blind Spot Indicator, Lane Departure, etc safety features?
My wife likes both, and the sportiness of the RDX is much better. Features being equal, we'd go with the RDX. Right now, the features are NOT equal...and the MDX would look very nice sitting next to our TL.

I hope this is the case at least!

It would not benefit Acura to offer those features in the RDX. The MDX would lise sales and the price would be too expensive and send potential customers to other brands in addition.
We will see soon.

I would be very surprised if Acura didn't offer improved safety features such as lane watch blind spot monitoring, lane departure etc as part of the 2015 tech package given you can now get both on a 2014 Honda Accord. I believe you can even get blind spot monitoring on the 2014 Civic now. In my opinion it would be too embarrassing for Acura not to include these features!

rvfryan....I agree with most that the changes will not likely come until the MMC which I think will be the 2016 MY. That being said, I think we will see a higher trim option in the RDX when the MMC occurs, and things like BSM, LKA are possible. I would think that they will provide a height adjuster on the passenger side and provide the Jewel eyes.
I agree that the RDX is a great little vehicle and provides a good blend of agility and roominess. I think the MDX is getting abit too big although I love its interior.....but there are LESS technical problems with the RDX than the MDX and the lack of fancy techno gizmo could be the reason. Lots of bling bling can create their fare share of problems as evident in teh MDX section....
As an RDX owner....I can assure you that I love that vehicle ALOT! Although the TL is fun to drive, given the choice between keeping one over the other, the TL would go and I would keep the RDX.
