2013 RDX AWD - Tech package
I need your input and opinion friends. I know Acura products and I love them. My younger brother loves my car and he wants to upgrade from an Accord to RDX (he doesn't want to have a TL, the same car as mine.)
We found one for $31.5K CDN. Fully loaded, extremely clean, low milage (40,000 KM) and no accidents.
Please give me your input....yes or no? is there any major issue with this year model?
thank you in advance

^^ Tony....We owned a 2013 RDX (white) and we really enjoyed it. The vehicle has a great engine, great handling and for the price, it is a good CUV.
A few things I didn't like:
1. The rear shocks (made by Sachs) are really garbage and will make a real loud thump in cold weather. You should be able to experience it this week as we have a blast of cold air coming through.
2. My g/f didn't like the lack of height adjustable seat on on the passenger side. She is only 5'3 and when she sat on the passenger side, she felt that the door side were too high and disliked it.
3. The headlights tend to be a bit high so he may get flashed if the previous owner didn't have the light assembly turned a bit closer to the road
Otherwise, it is a good vehicle. You will get decent fuel mileage....The subwoofer is a bit weak and for me, I had to shift the sound with more of a rear bias in order to give the sound a better balance.
At 31.5k for 40 000km, it is pretty good. We sold ours last year for about 37.5 and it was the tech also but had only 12 000 km. If you can negotiate it down to 30 or 30.5 or try and get a cargo tray...
Best of luck

I went on vacation and my brother was waiting for me to come back and negotiate the price
Going on Tuesday.
Any idea how much should we pay for this car? assuming the carpet is clean and no accidents.
thanks

out of curiosity, was that a CPO? I.e. the dealer had done with airbag fix and is open to sell as a certified vehicle? Or was it listed as used, without the recall?
...searching high and low for a 2013 CPO, but autotrader is coming up with 0 results within the US...
