This weekend I was in my father-in-laws 2015 MDX. I turned on the seat heaters and could feel strong sustained heat. Whenever I turn on the heaters in my 2013 RDX, I am not sure if I can even tell a difference or I am just imagining it. Are the heaters really just that weak (on high)? Thanks all.

Something is wrong with your RDX. Seat heating ability has never been an issue for the RDX.

 

My 14 and 17 are quite hot.

 

My 2013 gets plenty hot!

 

Thank you all. Any idea what could be going on? The light for LOW and HIGH come on, so I am not sure it is a fuse issue.

 

There could be something wrong with the heating element in the seats.

If it was shorted ,it would blow a fuse.If it was an open circuit,You would think that one would work.There are plugs under the seat.Maybe try unplugging and plugging back in?

Turns out it was the fuse, replaced with the spare from the engine fuse box and the heat is great.

I was surprised to find that the lights were still coming on. But then I noticed that the light to indicate which gear is selected is similar, so they must be on a different circuit.
