Transmission <109K Miles Denied Replacement
Have any of you been told that only certain VIN cars may have their auto-transmission replaced under the class-action law suit warranty extension of 109,000 miles? (as opposed to the standard 100,000 mile extended warranty)
I'm clocked at just under 109,000 miles and under the 93 month limitation with a slipping tranny and getting this message.
'Appreciate your reply.
To the web master - I looked over a number of transmission section entries not finding my answer.

I had my trans replaced in Nov last year and they did mention that it depended on the vehicle VIN. My car had already had some type of retrofit or fix done to it prior to me getting it. They tested the vehicle and ended up replacing the trans under waranty.

I bought my car in 03 w 26000 miles. trans replaced at 40000. My car now has 132000. Transmission went out. i called three dealers and customer services in Cali. I'm screwed now. I thought the Transmission would be good for up to 140000.

I have an '01 CL in need of tranny replacement and dealer says I'm out of warranty because it has been more than 7 years, even though I have only 86K miles, anyone have info on this?
